Real Estate Professionals Need You to Write for Them!

Are you an experienced writer? Do you want to stay at home to write? Do you want to work for yourself? Do you learn new things quickly? Are you interested in a broad number of subjects? Do you feel like you?re being pigeo?
If you answered ?yes? to any of these questions ? or even better ? several, you may have found a new career!
It?s more important than ever for real estate professionals to market themselves legally considering the laws regarding email and telephone sales seem to change daily - depending on which court is hearing the case. Many experts speculate though that eventually some sort of anti-telemarketing law will be enforced and while it?s much more difficult to regulate email, it?s still being made more and more difficult to use this form of marketing and sales. So basically it comes down to the fact that real estate professionals need an effective way to market themselves without breaking the law.
If you?ve ever done business with a Realtor or Mortgage Broker they probably still send you newsletters, recipe cards, sport?s schedules, notepads, etc. If they don?t they aren?t marketing themselves very effectively and you may have found your first client!
The majority of a real estate professional?s business comes from word of mouth - whether it?s repeat business from people who are refinancing their mortgage, applying for a home equity loan, selling their house, renting their house, or from clients who recommend ?their guy? to friends and relatives. Whatever it is, it?s in the professional?s best interest to keep their name on your mind.
The frequency with which real estate professionals send out these marketing materials varies. My own Realtor usually sends me a quarterly newsletter along with goodies like flower seeds and notepads throughout the year. Some of the more industrious professionals actually send out newsletters on a weekly basis!
The key is for the professional to get his/her name and phone number in front of as many sets of eyes as possible. When the professional sends you a newsletter, that includes several interesting articles, such as how to increase the value of your home or budget decorating tips or how to clean up your credit before you apply for a mortgage, etc. you find these articles so fascinating you hang on to the newsletter. Or you know that your next-door neighbor is particularly interested in decorating on a budget so you pass it along to her and so on.
Next thing you know, many set of eyes have seen the real estate professional?s name and they decide to call him/her when they need the services of a real estate professional.
When your cousin Vinney calls you up out of the blue to tell you he?s moving to Arlington and ?do you have a Realtor you can recommend? you do of course because the sport?s schedule/newsletter/recipe card your Realtor recently sent you is hanging on your refrigerator.
So what does all of this mean for you the freelance writer? It means more assignments and more money! After all, the real estate professional is either too busy or simply doesn?t have the desire or skills to write their own newsletters and other materials. What they need is a freelance writer to handle this crucial aspect of their business.
To be certain, like any business you?ll need to get out there and hustle and market yourself before you can expect to market for your clients. You?ll need to prepare professional looking samples to start out with and hawk these to as many real estate professionals as you can think of. You can find these professionals by looking in the phone book for addresses, pulling fliers from yard signs and introducing yourself to Realtors conducting open houses to begin with.

There are many places in the United States, where you can get trained as an electrician, or for your own core Around-The-home repair or build a large new lucrative career electrician. One school in California, is dedicated to nothing but electrical training for those who can demonstrate the skill and desire to go to the end. Let’s look at what it offers.
In Los Angeles, California, for example electrical training is highly regulated and legislated. IBEW International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and National Electrical Contractors Association NECA committed to respecting and electrical training, which teaches methods, tools and rules for students in the Union workforce. Organized workers and administrators understand the importance electricians are the building process. Together they created an institution for electrical training, which teaches journey-level electrical basics of working with logic control systems, which are programmable, as well as complex data, which are in the modern commercial and residential buildings.

This is a union electrical training program actually funded by the private sector, with contributions coming from the Union of the workers themselves and their employers. Those students involved in the preparation Do not have to pay for training and even pay a living wage for their practical training.

Students in the preparatory work for an apprentice electrician program, which teaches them the electrical trade as a class store and in the workplace. Classes are held in the evenings for at least six hours a week. Wage increases of the periodic report depends on experience, classes in school and attendance.

Electrical training lasts five years. Each student attends at least 160 classroom hours per year. They almost have to go through at least 8000 hours of work.

Electrical training program NECA and IBEW way to show customers and potential customers that they are committed to producing highly qualified electricians. As a result of this training jobs, that work is completed on the force for a period of high quality products and work. Call backs are rare.

After initial training at the Institute of Electrical graduated hasn’t ended, however. Its an ongoing process, especially in light of the various green energy projects across the state and nation. One of the main tasks is to prepare the electrical training to work at a safe place. All electrical training courses to teach safety. One course is dedicated to a safe workplace. Its not just a question of maintaining the electric sound working either. Electric rain takes into account that while the electrical projects completed in the retail, office or other commercial among employees of the client, can continue to work at the facility. They should be safe as well.

The Salaried Employee: Coping With The Times 0

The Salaried Employee: Coping With The Times

An employment office was checking on an applicant’s list of references.  “How long did this man work for you?” a former boss was asked.  “About five hours,” was the swift retort.  “Well!  He reported to us that he’s been with your company for a long time!” exclaimed the surprised caller.  “Oh, yeah,” replied the ex-employer, “he’s been here all right, for two years.”

Indeed, there are many people who just do their job without putting in more effort.  In this time of economic crisis, many companies are looking for ways to stay afloat.  Most of the time, the alternative to bankruptcy is either a huge pay cuts for the employees or, worse, cutting them loose all together.  When an employee is fired, many benefits go out the window: medical insurance, productivity bonuses, access to payday loan companies, and even paid vacations and leaves.  Still, unemployment is a very present reality—for both good and bad employees.  But, ask any business owner or company manager, it is harder for them to let go of good employees than bad ones.

So for those who are salaried and still have a job despite the financial crisis, human resource experts and head hunters have this important advice: look at the advantages of the work and love it.  That is, while the employee still has it.  Here are some advantages that salaried, hourly employees and workers have.  These are just small reminders to count one’s blessings of having a job during the economic slowdown.

Regularity of schedule.  Office workers or those who have eight to five jobs often complain of the monotony or boredom they experience because of the regularity of their job.  They could see this in a different and more positive way.  How?  In reality, have regular work hours gives them the freedom and ability to plan their time.  They can look forward to certain nights being open for some night out with friends or quality time for the family.  Weekends are usually open, too, for a lot of fun activities.
A defined job.  Most jobs of this nature are specifically set. Employees and workers know exactly what to do how it is to be done, with regular deadlines or time line to boot.
Stability of location.  Persons who are office-bound move less frequently than others.  A forced move within a particular company is unlikely unless there is a major economic problem, like when a plant or company closes.

Just like in any kind of job—from driving trucks to driving race cars—some are very enjoyable, some quite difficult, and some easy.  It is just a matter of finding the right attitude to deal with it and, most importantly, make it WORK!

Global warming is posing serious threats to the environment and the world is facing energy crisis. The present scenario has made it essential to build a greener economy so that climate change effects can be controlled and the financial condition of the global economy also improves. In the last few years, union leaders to politicians, everyone has been praising the benefits of socially responsible career opportunities (green jobs). These jobs are being considered the future of the US economy and millions of dollars are already being invested in this sector for good results.
What is a green job?

Green jobs are career opportunities that contribute towards social and environmental benefits. Green jobs can play a very important role in building a green economy and fight the effects of global warming. According to industry experts, green jobs are not just about creation of new jobs, it also means increased job security for people who are already employed in certain fields. Some of the interesting green jobs that can be taken up are:

Environment Manager: The job profile of an environment manager would include co-coordinating the management of an organization’s environmental performance in order to conserve and protect natural resources.

Energy rating auditor: As energy rating auditor an individual can analyze the energy efficiency of a building in a comprehensive manner. The auditor’s recommendations can be used by the energy retrofitter in the creation of more energy efficient home heating and cooling systems for buildings.

Green Product Designer: As a green product designer one can design products that will use less raw materials and energy for producing and consuming less resources and energy.

Government initiative is required to a great extent to ensure the growth of the green jobs sector. In the last few years, the US government has made heavy investments in order to train people in green vocation fields that not only ensure upward mobility for low income communities but living wages as well. So, if you want to earn a living while making a difference, opt for a responsible career opportunity.
